Abstract :
Anarijeh(Froriepiasubpinnata) is an endemic plant with widespread distribution in woody region in the North of Iran. This research was carried out with the aim of evaluating phytochemical and antioxidant compounds, as well as quantitative identification and measurement of the dominant phenolic acid content of the antifriction extract by high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). The extract had a significant antioxidant potential in all evaluations (p <0.05) and showed concentration-dependent antioxidant activity. In all concentrations, the synthetic antioxidants BHA and BHT had more inhibitory activity than normal antioxidants, except in concentrations of 650 and 700 μg / ml, which showed a higher inhibitory activity than the synthetic antioxidants; The amount of gallic acid, chlorogenic acid, comic acid and quercetin was detected in anthrax, and the most common phenolic compound was chlorogenic acid (97.16 mg / 100 g dry plant). On the basis of obtained results, Enarijehmay be introduced as a rich novel source of natural antioxidants for food drug industry.
