Abstract :
This research investigates the possibility of Nanostructuring of 7075 aluminum alloy using the equally channel angular pressing method. this process was simulated through the finite element method, and it was observed that with the help of it, a high amount of strain is imposed on the material during the process and causes the mechanical properties of the material to be significantly improved, thus making the processed material usable for use in plastic injection molds instead of commercial steel. In this study, it was observed that, in a single pass, it is possible to reach an average plastic strain above one by adjusting the appropriate speed during the process. Also, the maximum forming load in the process was about 40 tons which were extremely appropriate so it was concluded that this process is very efficient for improving the mechanical properties of Aluminum 7075 alloy for use in plastic injection molds.
