Abstract :
As a result of accidental blows and similar accidents, such as an explosion, it may be destroyed by a major member or key members of the structure, and if other members cannot help with these defective elements, failure to expand the adjacent members destruction and ultimately the whole structure or Part of it collapses. Because no one has ever worked on this topic, the purpose of this thesis is progressive collapse, multi-level structures, reinforced concrete. In this thesis, nonlinear dynamic analysis method has been used in analyzes. Also, the finite element software used in this study is ABAQUS. The selected model is a 6-floor concrete armed building. The number of models used is 6 models that models are used to compare the different states of removal of columns in the edge, middle and middle of the 6-floor model in order to investigate the effect of shear walls. The shear wall improves the structure s performance against the progressive deterioration phenomenon and absorbs much of the force of the removed column. The results of this study for the arrangement of shear walls indicate that the outer arrangement during the destruction of a part of the structure performs better than internal alignment and has a better distribution of stress.
