Abstract :
The advanced use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) has significantly reduced the need for human intervention in repetitive and rule-based tasks. AI can greatly impact the workforce in the construction industry, particularly in project management. Machine learning techniques can assist project managers in managing financial aspects and time scheduling. A major challenge faced by construction project managers is the ineffective tracking and cost management processes, which underscores the need for AI-based solutions on construction sites. This research aims to identify the role of AI in time and cost management of construction projects. The integration of AI in construction project management offers a transformative approach to tackling traditional challenges related to time and cost overruns. By adopting AI-based machine learning tools like ANN, SVM, and regression models, construction projects can achieve greater efficiency, predictability, and control over their timelines and budgets.
