Studying the relationship between the organizational identity and job ‎satisfaction of Agricaltural Bank staff of khorramabad, Iran

Abstract :
The present study aims to examine the relationship between job satisfaction and organizational ‎identity of Agricaltural Bank staff of khorramabad, Iran. The research is descriptive and ‎correlational. The study population consisted of all Agricaltural Bank staff of khorramabad, ‎Lorestan province in west of Iran, which was 161 individuals. ‎ Using the Krejcie & Morgan Table, the sample size was 113, which were determined by relative ‎stratified random sampling method. To collect the required data, the questionnaires of Minnesota ‎job satisfaction and organizational identity of Cheney (1983) were used. In addition to ‎descriptive statistics such as mean and standard deviation, the statistical test of Pearson ‎correlation coefficient and Stepwise multiple regression were used to analyze the data. The ‎results of Pearson correlation coefficient showed that there was a significant positive relationship ‎between job satisfaction and organizational identity of Agricaltural Bank staff of khorramabad. ‎Furthermore, e was a significant positive relationship between dimensions of organizational ‎identity (similarity, membership, loyalty) and job satisfaction of Agricaltural Bank staff of ‎khorramabad. The regression analysis was performed in two steps, which only two components ‎of loyalty and membership remained in the analysis among the variables put into it. The loyalty ‎alone and loyalty together with membership explains variances of 12% and 14% in job ‎satisfaction, respectively.‎
