Abstract :
Wound healing is a complicated biological phenomenon that relies on the presence of an ideal environment to enhance tissue repair and regeneration, Electrospun nanofiber provide this ideal environment. Electrospinning is an economical, innovative, simple strategy, adaptable and scalable method for creating highly porous and customizable nanofibers with an extensive surface area. It has become a groundbreaking approach in biomedical engineering, especially in the realm of wound care. This technique facilitates the production of nanofiber-based wound dressings that closely resemble the extracellular matrix, thereby significantly enhancing tissue regeneration and healing processes. This article explores the progress made in electrospinning technology, emphasizing its applications in sophisticated wound dressings and its capacity to transform wound management practices.
