Abstract :
The integration of modern technologies with traditional architectural methods provides a unique opportunity to strike a balance between cultural authenticity and contemporary needs. In this article, the historic houses of Kashan are examined as a prominent example of traditional Iranian architecture to identify the capabilities and challenges of utilizing advanced technologies in preserving and enhancing this valuable heritage. The main focus is on the ways in which modern technologies can improve the energy efficiency, occupant comfort, and durability of buildings, while preserving their authentic traditional design features and historical aesthetics. The findings of this research demonstrate a creative synergy that, if properly implemented, can shape the future of sustainable and cultural architecture.
