Abstract :
In the world around us, there are many situations that can be described using a graph composed of a set of points along with lines connecting some of these points. For example, to represent friendship relations among a group of people, each person can be denoted by a point, with a line connecting any two points that correspond to friends. In another case, to illustrate a communication network, one can use a graph in which the points represent communication centers and the lines indicate the communication links between them.
Or consider an office: the points could represent employees, and the lines could reflect the hierarchy of authority. In such cases, the direction of the lines is also significant. The mathematical representation of these situations leads to the concept of a graph. Now, if the concept of a graph is combined with a network of information associated with it, an **information graph** emerges, which can be applied to various fields such as social networks, military structures, postal services, organizations, universities, and more.
