Abstract :
Women, as half of the world’s population, play a fundamental role in managing financial resources and improving household welfare. This role extends beyond traditional activities and is reflected in economic participation, financial decision‑making, budgeting, and expense management. Women’s economic capabilities and their active involvement in household financial management lead to optimal resource allocation, reduced unnecessary expenditures, and increased savings and investment—factors that strengthen household financial stability and, consequently, the economic stability of society. Research indicates that women’s effective participation in financial decisions not only enhances quality of life but also contributes to better investments in the education and health of children, thereby ensuring long‑term human capital development. Using a descriptive‑analytical approach and drawing on academic sources, this study examines various dimensions of women’s roles in financial resource management and analyzes their impact on improving household welfare and sustainable economic development. The findings reveal that women’s intelligent financial management, along with income generation and their ability to balance family and work responsibilities, plays a decisive role in reducing financial stress, increasing economic security, and enhancing the overall quality of household life. Furthermore, women’s economic participation is a key factor in reducing poverty and gender inequality and represents an important step toward building a more stable and equitable economy
