Abstract :
The tourism industry plays a key role in the global economy today, but at the same time it brings many challenges in the field of preserving the environment, local cultures and natural resources. This article examines the effectiveness of environmental psychology, especially nature psychology, in promoting sustainable tourism and environmental responsibility. Nature psychology studies the direct and indirect effects of human interaction with natural environments and its effect on human behavior and decisions in various fields, including tourism. This research analyzes how emotions, environmental awareness and a sense of belonging to nature affect tourists behavior and their decisions in choosing sustainable tourism destinations. Based on environmental psychology models, it is shown that a deep understanding of nature and its relationship with mental health can help increase environmental awareness and improve tourist behavior. This article highlights how incorporating the psychology of nature into tourism destination management strategies can strengthen civic responsibility, reduce the negative impacts of tourism, and promote sustainable behaviors. Finally, this research explores practical solutions to increase the impact of the psychology of nature in the design and implementation of sustainable tourism policies and the protection of environmental rights.
