Abstract :
Artificial intelligence has emerged as one of the influential technologies in the field of cybersecurity, providing significant capabilities for detecting and responding to cyber threats through machine learning and deep learning techniques. This study analytically reviews the applications of artificial intelligence in cybersecurity, with a particular focus on intrusion detection, malware identification, and emerging cyber threats. By examining and analyzing previous studies and research, the capabilities of artificial intelligence-based approaches in behavioral pattern analysis, anomaly detection, and the identification of sophisticated threats are investigated. The findings indicate that machine learning and deep learning algorithms can improve the accuracy and speed of threat detection and enable more effective responses to cyberattacks. However, challenges such as the need for high-quality data, adversarial attacks, model complexity, computational costs, and the protection of data privacy remain important barriers to the widespread adoption of these technologies. Ultimately, effective utilization of artificial intelligence in cybersecurity requires the integration of intelligent algorithms with appropriate monitoring mechanisms, continuous updating of data and models, and simultaneous consideration of security and privacy requirements.
