Abstract :
    One of the issues that has attracted considerable attention in accounting research, particularly in the field of accounting education, is the shortage of professional accountants to meet the continuously growing demand. This study initially presents the introduction, research objectives, and hypotheses. It then examines the research methodology, data collection methods, students interest and motivation to pursue accounting studies, individual preferences in choosing a suitable career, previous research, and the statistical population under investigation. Finally, the research hypotheses are tested, and the results are presented. The findings indicate that there is a positive and statistically significant relationship between students intrinsic interest and their willingness to pursue studies in the field of accounting.
