Abstract :
Using natural resources in the best way is a way for a country to become rich. If a country can use the natural resources it has in a sustainable manner with high efficiency and efficiency, that country will be among the richest countries in the world. Finally, it can be concluded that investing in this field has huge profitability and in a short time will result in a profitable return for the product, which will find good added value. Therefore, comprehensive executive solutions and strategies and scientific-practical suggestions are formulated that will enable the realization of a significant part of this vision in the case of medicinal plants and Iranian medicine, and it is hoped that they will be used by researchers and, with the special attention of the authorities and the follow-up of the implementation of the provisions of the above-mentioned documents, will lead to the implementation of the investment and the realization of the scientific and economic goals of the country. The aim of examining the challenge of competitiveness and integrating modern and smart applied sciences in the context of medicinal plant ecosystems and economic analysis of Iranian medicinal plants in domestic and foreign markets has been emphasized to recognize the inhibiting role of factors such as inefficiency of marketing activities and limitations of target markets and lack of recognition of appropriate target markets in the development of the medicinal plant sector. Accordingly, we propose changing the traditional productivity, exploitation and marketing model to a professional and modern one and identifying and prioritizing target markets. Considering the advancement of replacing the traditional and general structure with smart application levels at all stages in the field of medicinal plant cultivation, policymakers, managers, producers, growers, sellers and all those involved in this field should make more correct and clear decisions with a correct understanding of the existing challenges and problems and the optimal and ideal situation. Therefore, careful planning should be made for the cultivation and processing of these plants to produce products and processing with high qualitative and quantitative efficiency. Also, the preference of those who work in this field is eager to increase their work efficiency and optimize the production of medicines. This has been made possible with the help of knowledge-based technologies and intelligent systems.
