Abstract :
Rail transport systems are known as one of the most efficient and sustainable methods of transporting passengers and goods. These systems, using fixed rails and the vehicles that move on them, are able to move a large volume of passengers and goods in a short time and at a reasonable cost. The main advantage of rail transport is in reducing traffic, reducing environmental pollution and increasing travel safety. Also, these systems usually have lower maintenance and operating costs compared to other methods of transport, such as cars or planes, and are considered better options for long-term travel. Compared to other methods, such as road and air transport, rail transport is superior in terms of capacity and sustainability. While cars may face many problems due to traffic and infrastructure limitations, trains can move at higher speeds without worrying about traffic. On the other hand, air transport, with its high ticket costs and long waiting times, is not cost-effective for short-term trips. Overall, rail systems play a key role in improving modern transport infrastructure by providing sustainable and economical solutions and helping to strengthen intercity and international connections.
