Abstract :
This article examines the relationship between political conditions and mental health in Iranian society. In the contemporary world, political conditions have a wide-ranging impact on the mental health of individuals in different societies. In Iran, political and social changes, economic and cultural crises, and fluctuations in domestic and international policies can have major impacts on individuals mental health. This study analyzes the positive and negative effects of these conditions on the mental health of Iranian people and attempts to identify key factors that can lead to an increase or decrease in mental health problems in society. In particular, critical periods and how governments and public policies deal with issues such as social crises, economic pressures, and public dissatisfaction will be examined in this study. The results show that unstable political conditions and economic pressures can increase mental disorders such as anxiety, depression, and stress in society. Also, supportive policies and reform programs can help reduce these problems. Finally, this article offers suggestions for improving the mental health status of Iranian society given the current political conditions.
