Abstract :
Organic architecture or biomorphism is a philosophy in architecture that promotes harmony between human habits and nature. This happens if the design is so coordinated with the environment that the building, furniture, and environment is part of a united and relevant compound. Organic architectural insight is rooted in the Romantic philosophy. Romanticism was a philosophical, artistic, literary movement in the late 18th and 19th centuries, which spread to other parts of Europe and America. This movement was a reaction to the rationalism of modern wisdom. Organic architecture is a tendency in architecture, which is consistent with nature, and in better terms, with nature. For this purpose, in order to create buildings that are consistent with nature, these attributes are in fact the principles governing this architectural style (organic architectural approach), which is necessary in design and manufacturing. In a glimpse of organic architecture, it can be said that architecture responds with respect to nature and creates a building that is in line with nature. In this regard, the purpose of this study is to demonstrate a complete and rational way to better understand the organic concept and its history, the theoretical foundations of organic architecture, the leading architects of organic style in Iran and the world, and outstanding works of organic style.
