Abstract :
    Simply put, terminals in the present form are a place in a city that carries passengers (domestic and foreign) from city to city or province or country, and its ultimate goal is to provide services to passengers. Transportation to It is considered as the vital arteries of countries and the development perspective is a fundamental urban symbol and the most significant signs of the level of development in the tourism approach in the region. From another glance, the volume of global exchanges, the need for the development of communications and the speed and volume of the performance of the transport sector are increasingly evident. In the meantime, transportation of goods and services and tourism, infrastructure and infrastructure activities are in progress Urban area is considered in the area (Azad Aras). Tourism is now considered to be the largest industry in the world today and one of the pillars. Tourism has different forms that is now a new form in the tourism industry, with the aim of urban development of regional communities in the areas of the Jolfa Free Zone, as an economic and social tool and one of the most important modern businesses in urban areas, which is influenced by three dimensions of economy , Social and environmental conditions while attracting the participation of the local community in the development of the national economy with the potential of preserving and protecting natural resources and the environment contribute to environmental sustainability. In the economic dimension, a step towards poverty reduction through the development of small employment centers, the increase and transformation of endangered resources into productive resources, along with the utility and distribution of income, and in the social dimension, also leads to entrepreneurship and the prevention of migration, more communal communities With other diverse communities and cultures, recognizing local identity and prosperity, and ultimately creating urban development. The goal of urban development is tourism development (tourism) to expand facilities and improve the living conditions of the current generation and future generations of vulnerable urban classes. In this research, using descriptive and analytical research method, considering the importance of the subject, it has been tried to define the role of tourism (urban tourism) as one of the strategies of urban development while defining the concepts of the role of terminal and urban development.
