The use of frp polymer fibers in the renovation of building structures

Abstract :
    The purpose of the present study was to investigate the use of frp polymeric fibers for the repair of building structures, which was a descriptive-analytic type. According to the extensive use of brick and seismotectonic buildings in the country, the statistics show that the buildings have the most injuries caused by the earthquake. The damages to these buildings are usually due to the lack of precision and low shear strength of the used mortar and the lack of attention to the rules of the 2800 regulations. Therefore, the unarmed brick walls should be considered with increasing attention to the lateral forces. To put up The use of polymeric fibers is one of the best ways to rebuild brick walls. Ease of use, no need for skilled labor, light weight and low thickness, makes it a suitable method for retrofitting without disturbing the normal operation of space.
