The study of technical deficiencies in the occurrence of accidents on Karaj-Chaloos road in the first 6 months of 1395.

Abstract :
    Technical deficiencies is considered as a significant factor in the occurrence or intensification of road accidents. As the way of experience justifies sometimes a trifle technical reparation can impede the occurrence of such accidents to a considerable degree. This research goes for the study and the role of technical deficiencies in the occurrence of accidents on Karaj-Chaloos road in the first 6 months of 1395. To achieve this goal we survey the rate of accidents in the mentioned road and have made a questionnaire ready which studied the interference of the traffic engineering deficiencies in the mentioned span of the year. Statistical society which includes the accidents happening in this road which have been offered with drawn maps and achieved information from filling the questionnaires which have been prepared by experienced accident experts in this road. The results of descriptive data analysis and the rate of accidents by the software Spss showed that the utmost rate of accidents have happened due to the diversion toward the left side of the road and after that incapability to control the vehicle, which with the study of drawn maps and field inspection return by the experts, the role of traffic engineering deficiencies prevails. Also the most accidents have happened in the distance interval of 20 to 24 kilometers route which suffer from abundant technical-deficiencies. In the analysis of the effects of traffic engineering deficiencies hypothesis in the outbreak of these accidents , since no credible and reliable information from the drawn maps of the expert officers of the road was not achived , inevitably , the data achieved by the questionnaires were analyzed by computer . In that computer analysis, the regression analysis showed that there is a parallel relationship between the technical and traffic engineering deficiencies and the occurrence of the accidents.
