Abstract :
    Urban development and undesirable outcomes The current patterns of urban development and urban life have led to widespread attention today to the sustainable development of cities and the redefining of values ​​in urban areas. In this regard, different forms and patterns for sustainable urban development and sustainable cities have been presented. Among them, one can refer to the urban intelligence growth model, which is a systemic view of urbanization and causes the development and sustainability of the city in the long run. In this regard, it is necessary to introduce the concept of intelligent growth in principle in all aspects of the city s life and to be used as the basis for organizing the performance and communication between them. The purpose of this study is to investigate the strategy, principles and solutions of intelligent growth in urban spatial development. The type of research is fundamental and its method is analytical descriptive. Data and information are collected through documentary studies and libraries. The findings of the research show that smart growth is one of the main problems in solving urban problems in developing cities. Smart growth plays a significant role in organizing cities as a long-term strategy taking into account all its different dimensions.
