Abstract :
    The purpose of present study was to compare relationship between social support and meaning in life with depression among men and women. In this study 50 men and 50 women who were available in Qiamdasht city were selected and beck depression, Zimet social support and meaning in life questionnaires were completed for them. This research was important because there are a few researches which have compared the relationship between social support and meaning in life with depression among men and women .data was analyzed using Pearson correlation coefficient. Data indicates the negative and significant relationship between social support and meaning in life with depression among men and women which were more significant in men than women.
