Investigating the Role of Architectural Heritage in Strengthening the Tourism Industry (Comparative Study of Iranian Architectural Heritage with India and Greece)

Abstract :
    The aim of this study was to investigate the role of architectural heritage in strengthening the tourism industry with a comparative view of the architectural heritage of Iran and Greece. According to the method, the research is a review and comparative type that has been done with a documentary method. The sources used for the review included written and registered documents in reputable domestic and foreign scientific databases. The findings showed that both Iran and Greece have high capabilities in the field of architectural heritage to attract tourists, with the difference that Greece has been able to promote this architectural heritage in all cities of the country to attract this heritage. Tourists and the boom in its tourism industry. However, Iran s efforts to use the architectural heritage to strengthen tourism are few and far between, and in several respects it has its weaknesses, which are discussed in this article.
