Abstract :
At present, it is assumed that the strategic operating cost of maintaining flexible asphalt is approximately equivalent to rigid paving. The purpose of this study was to investigate the economic justification for asphalt pavement repair, maintenance and reconstruction. The research is descriptive-analytical and has been conducted with survey. To measure the variables, the data were collected from questionnaires and analyzed using supersession software. The statistical population includes 8 experts surveyed in the field of asphalt roads. The data gathering tool in this study is a paired comparisons questionnaire which was provided to the statistical population and statistical analysis was done using Hierarchical Process Technique (AHP) and using Expert Chevy software. The results showed that the most important sub-criteria were the rate of emergency repairs, the cost of one hour of preventive and emergency repairs, the rate of reduction of energy costs, the rate of reduction of costs and spare parts consumption, and the rate of reduction of net costs.
