Abstract :
Artificial intelligence and machine learning are interrelated computer sciences. These two technologies are the most advanced technologies used to create intelligent systems and have grown rapidly in some important fields in medicine, including cardiology and radiology. While these specialties have rapidly embraced artificial intelligence and machine learning, orthopedic surgery has been slower to do so. Fortunately, there has been a new wave of new research emphasizing the need for a systematic review. The main purpose of this systematic review will be to provide an update on the advances in artificial intelligence and machine learning in orthopedic surgery. The secondary objectives are to evaluate the applications of artificial intelligence and machine learning in providing clinical diagnosis and predicting postoperative outcomes and complications in orthopedic surgery. In this article, a systematic search of valid databases for written articles will be performed. Studies should be performed for orthopedic interventions and acute and chronic orthopedic musculoskeletal injuries to be considered eligible. . Any case reports and other preliminary studies that assess the predictability of postoperative outcomes or the ability to detect a diagnosis in orthopedic surgery will be considered. In this article, we will review and review the advances in artificial intelligence and machine learning in orthopedic surgery. Then, after reviewing the proposed method, we will express the results, and we hope that this article will lead to improvement and growth in this regard.
