Abstract :
The architecture of ancient Iran has different values, among which we can mention its symbolic (symbolic) values. This shows the mystery of Iranian art and architecture and expresses the beliefs of the artists and architects of this land about the existence of the transcendent world (beyond the conventional world). The belief that there is a face below what is above is so intertwined with the fabric of our architects and architecture that it can never be removed from the architecture of this land. Transnational and heavenly beliefs became more prominent in the Islamic era and took on a completely revelatory direction.
This article seeks to explain the symbolic dimensions of ancient Iranian architecture and to recognize its hidden aspects as value. The results of research have shown that the values of Iranian architecture in its historical context have never stopped and are not subject to a specific covenant. Rather, different styles - from the Achaemenid to the Isfahan school - all came together to complement each other - and not to destroy each other - and left their legacy to each other.
