The aim of this study was to investigate the expression of SQLE, OSC and bHLH genes using cucumber plant cell suspension. Materials and Methods: Concentrations of 5, 10 and 15 ppm of zinc and cobalt nanoxide and use and sampling at intervals of 24, 48 and 72 hours. Gene expression was assessed by real-time PCR. In general, both elicitors used had an effect on gene expression. The effect of zinc nanoxide on gene expression was higher than cobalt nanoxide. The highest level of OSC gene expression was related to 24 hours and 15 ppm. The bHLH gene had the highest expression at 15 ppm and 48 hours. The highest expression of SQLE gene was It was performed at a concentration of 5 ppm and a duration of 24 hours. Cobalt nanoxide was much less effective than zinc nanoxide in increasing gene expression. The highest expression level of OSC gene was related to 24-hour period and 15 ppm concentration. BHLH gene had the highest expression level at 15 ppm concentration and duration of 48 hours. The highest expression level of SQLE gene was at 5 ppm concentration and 24 hours duration. Cobalt nanoxide was much less effective than zinc nanoxide in increasing gene expression.
