Abstract :
In the present study, the fluid flow and forced heat transfer of conventional water-copper nanofluid and water-copper-silicon oxide hybrid nanofluid within a porous microchannel with a triangular cross section have been investigated numerically. Geometry is modeled in three dimensions. The finite volume method and the simple algorithm have been used to numerically solve the survival equations. The k-تور turbulence model is used to solve turbulence equations. The study was performed for Reynolds numbers from 5000 to 11000, volume fraction from zero to 0.04 of nanoparticles and porosity coefficient from 0.7. The results show that by increasing the Reynolds number in all volume fractions, the average Nusselt number and the coefficient of friction increase. The highest rate of change of the average Nusselt number is related to Reynolds number 11000 and volume fraction of 4%, the amount of which has increased by 13.07 and 3.27%, respectively, compared to the basic fluid and normal nanofluid. Also, the highest coefficient of friction related to hybrid nanofluid in Reynolds number is 11000 and volume fraction is 4%, which has increased by 71.97 and 15.41%, respectively, compared to base fluid and ordinary nanofluid.
