Abstract :
    Sidewalks or sidewalks are dedicated to turning urban spaces into safe and enjoyable places, as well as walking paths and meeting the daily needs of citizens. We are removing its obstacles. The aim of this study was to investigate the principles and standards of urban sidewalk design in order to strengthen and improve the physical quality (Afifabad St., Shiraz) and create conditions to improve the quantity and quality of increasing communication and social interactions with each other on sidewalks with appropriate body. And is standard. This study evaluates the physical and environmental quality of the sidewalk on Afifabad Street in Shiraz. The statistical population of Shiraz is considered to be the components of the research in the form of three qualitative components and eighteen quantitative components that after completing the questionnaire by 392 people through virtual sites and analysis by Pearson method in SPSS software to collect The result of the research was discussed.Therefore, according to the results, there was a significant relationship between the research variables. Therefore, according to the findings of the Afifabad sidewalk research, by solving problems such as leveling and completing the flooring, paying attention to the presence of disabled and elderly people and proper lighting at night, as well as paying attention to cultural affairs on the sidewalk in improving the physical quality of the area Create.
