Abstract :
    Housing and the economy play an important role in human life. The two actually have a direct impact on each other. The growth of urbanization and providing housing for it is one of the important issues of countries such as Iran and Azarshahr. The role of a city s economy shows the purchasing power and ability of its citizens to provide housing. In fact, the economy is one of the main dimensions of housing in research. At present, the aim is to investigate the role of the economy in providing housing for low-income groups in Azarshahr. Identifying eligible households to help afford housing resources and facilities will help prevent the loss of resources and facilities, and facilities and services will reach deciles and disadvantaged groups. This article is of applied type and the method used in this article is descriptive-analytical method and data collection has been done in the form of library and documentary studies. In this study, views on housing supply and the role of housing economy in the country and its relationship with increasing the amount of housing, in order to provide desirable and appropriate programs. It is concluded that the main problem in providing housing for low-income groups is financing, but by creating appropriate construction regulations to increase the number of housing and with its support, we will see an approximate decrease in housing prices. It has a direct role in providing housing, so suggestions are made to increase the economic power of the city and provide housing for low-income groups.
