Use of sunflower waste oil to produce biodiesel

Abstract :
    Biodiesel is one of the best available resources to compensate for the shortage of fossil fuels. There are more than 350 potential alternative fuels for diesel energy. Researchers have performed experiments using different oils and mixtures with diesel. They conclude that vegetable oils, pure or mixed with diesel, are suitable for engine operation. It is reported that the combustion properties of biodiesel are similar to diesel and the mixtures have lower ignition delay, higher combustion temperature, higher combustion pressure. Engine output power is equal to diesel fuel.
