Abstract :
    The present study was conducted for the purpose of future research on housing supply and demand in Azarshahr. This research is in terms of basic-applied purpose, in terms of descriptive-analytical nature and in terms of method, it is a documentary method (library) and based on a futures research approach. The scope of this research is Azarshahr city. Based on the theoretical foundations, the process and how to plan and develop housing for low-income groups in Azarshahr has been considered. The new urban housing planning plans of related organizations and their impact on housing balance have also been assessed. In a country like Iran where the income inequality of different groups is very high. Addressing the priorities of vulnerable groups is one of the first necessities of national development. Findings show what factors affect the supply and demand of housing in Azarshahr. Then, based on the results of the mentioned studies and also based on the literature of the relevant subject and after collecting the desired information, through statistics and library documents, the key factors affecting the supply and demand of housing in Azarshahr have been studied. The results of the study show which of the drivers are the key factors influencing the future housing situation of low-income groups. Futurists seek to discover, invent, present, test, and evaluate possible, probable, and desirable futures. They make different choices about the future for human beings and help them to choose and build the most desirable future. In this article, considering the special importance of providing housing for vulnerable groups in urban society and the need for new planning to identify and manage future challenges, using the perspective of futures research and estimating population growth rate and household migration along with considering the future number Inefficient structures have tried to provide solutions to provide housing for low-income groups.
