Abstract :
Industries, in particular, oil and gas industries are always faced with numerous accidents and risks in the construction phase. One of the most risky processes in the oil industry is oil crude pipeline projects, which due to its nature requires special attention in the field of risk management in the construction phase. In this study, identifying and evaluating the safety risks of the of the powerline in Gore-Jask strategic crude oil pipeline project was done by using FMEA and William Fine methods, and after determining the high-risk risks, prioritization for planning for control and preventive measures, potential risk factors were assessed using one of the multi-criteria decision making (MCDM) techniques. The results of the research can be used to prevent the reduction of possible accident rates in powerlines of oil pipeline projects at national and international levels, to reduce project risks by eliminating and reducing high risk factors and to take management and preventive measures before the implementation of oil projects.
