Research in bionic architecture

Abstract :
    Innovations based on nature and natural evolution in the second half of the 20th century, following research, led to the emergence of new fields in academic discussions under the title of bionics. Bionic science is basically an interdisciplinary field that examines the functioning of those natural organisms that are used in new technologies. The present review study examines the research literature in the field of bionic architecture with the method of library studies. The research results indicate that bionic architecture saves energy and increases the useful life of the structure and is more economical than other approaches. Maybe in the future, the interior spaces of living and working places will have a function like living beings; Compatible with the location and able to provide all the energy and basic needs from the surrounding environment. To define bionic architecture, the word bionic must be defined first. A word called Bionics is derived from the combination of two words Biology and Technique meaning biology or the use of artificial organs of nature, which in Farsi is Technical Biology . Bionic is considered the science of systems that are the foundation of all living systems. Today, whenever technology is mentioned, the image of the important technological achievements comes to mind, but if we pay attention to the technological path, every industrial or construction phenomenon is inspired by the living model of nature. Currently, bionics is the art of applying the knowledge of living systems in solving technical problems. From the scientific researches, by combining the two words biology and technique , they established the science of bionics as a science that solves technical problems through biological methods
