Abstract :
Metal sheet bending is considered as one of the important parts in the industry, with the help of which all kinds of metal parts can be bent for various purposes and finally used. In general, in the process of bending the metal sheet, the angle of the corresponding metal will be changed according to the consumption needs and will be in the desired form. Currently, the process of bending metal sheets is used in many industries, including industries such as shipbuilding, construction, agriculture, animal husbandry, etc. Bending process is one of the main and most common methods of making and producing parts made of metal sheets. This method is used to permanently shape sheets in an angular form, which is done by applying direct force on the sheet. To achieve permanent deformation, the material must be within its plastic deformation range. For this purpose, the applied force must be greater than the yield point of the material. Like other metal forming processes, in the sheet bending process, the shape of the sheet changes, but the volume of the metal remains unchanged. In some cases, bending may slightly change the thickness of the sheet. But in most cases, this did not happen and the thickness of the metal sheet remains constant. In general, the metal bending process depends on the type of workpiece, dimensions and thickness. In addition, parameters such as bend size, bend radius, bend angle, bend curvature and bend location depend on the workpiece in bending. In this research, according to the general examination of sheet bending, we find that the more brittle the sheet is, because the ultimate stress and yield stress are close to each other, the elastic band width will be greater in the deformation area, and according to the tension of the sheet in the outer radius Bending and sheet pressure in the inner radius of the bend, we have some cross-sectional change in the bend area, which we ignore due to its insignificance.
