Abstract :
The society has the duty to provide their security by keeping their vulnerable people away as much as possible, sometimes this duty requires people to monitor their children s information and communication without their permission. Of course, this type of monitoring is a violation of family privacy. Respecting the boundaries of privacy on one hand and maintaining the safety and peace of the family on the other hand, has caused a conflict between these two duties, that is, maintaining security and not violating privacy. This article, with a descriptive-analytical method and by referring to authentic Islamic sources, seeks to answer the question that what is the most important principle in this issue and what is the duty? In the end, by insisting on the priority of the more expedient matter and considering that keeping the children s safety is more compatible with the moral goals and maintaining the reputation of individuals, keeping the family s safety was recognized as the most important principle. The spread of social networks and easy access to them has caused many harms in education. Some of these harms directly affect children, including fraud, hacking, communication with unhealthy people, communication with the opposite sex, etc. Cited
