Abstract :
Exterior building facades cover the exterior of the building and serve different purposes. First, this facade protects the interior of the building from environmental conditions such as wind, rain, and sun, and also protects the interior of the building from the view of the public space. Another key aspect of modern facade design is creating a unified look for the building and sometimes even creating a special facade that will gain public fame. The facade system usually consists of a facade cladding and a two-dimensional element supported by primary or secondary structures. Various materials have been used for coating work in architecture, from common coating materials such as glass, metal, stone, concrete and timber, etc. to materials that have been developed during the last decade, such as glass fiber plastics (GPR), concrete It includes glass fiber reinforced (GRC) and many other examples. It is quite clear that the use of fabric membrane or sheet as a part of the building cover is expanding and very prominent examples have emerged only in the last few years. Materials made with technology, designs and construction methods play the main role in the advanced exterior of the building, and woven membranes or foils have many applications in the exterior, which becomes an essential component in modern architecture. Today, the variety of styles available is one of the most important reasons for the worldwide success of these styles. Membrane facade provides many opportunities for architectural facade, because by using these textiles, different forms and complex geometric modes can be used, which also provides positive benefits from an economic point of view. If the conditions are such that it is possible to use this membrane facade in the building, this article evaluates the general requirements related to building facade systems that can be used as one of the main evaluation lists. Used for designers. The presented case studies show a variety of solutions that include common material combinations. The examples presented in this study are all common materials and common methods including ETFE, glass PTFE, PVC polyesters, glass PTEF grids as well as multilayer insulating systems.
