Abstract :
The quality of green space has a great impact on human physical and mental health. Today, in the face of growing and increasing threats to nature and green space, due to economic and moral reasons, its protection has been taken into consideration, while its potential in the health of human societies is much more impressive than that, so little attention has been paid to it. Is. Being in nature has positive effects on the physical, mental and psychological activities of a person, so that it removes the stress and pressure of daily work and provides a peaceful environment for him. Also, the green scenery around the road increases the driver s attention on the road and reduces the amount of accidents by reducing the stress of travel and providing mental peace. Urban green spaces, such as parks, forests, green roofs, public gardens, provide different ecosystem services. Green spaces also provide physical activity, mental health, and general health in urban residents. This article examines British and American articles about urban space, especially parks, and compares the efforts made in US cities and Chinese cities. Most of the studies in this field show that the distribution of such spaces usually benefits the white community and the wealthy. Therefore, access to green space is considered as one of the issues of social justice. Many cities in the United States have pursued strategic plans to increase the amount of urban space provision, especially in neighborhoods that are poor in terms of the quantity and quality of parks. These strategic plans include the creation of green space in the remaining parts of the city and the reuse of outdated or unused transportation infrastructure. Similar strategic plans have also been used in Chinese cities, where more government control is considered in the provision of land in this country, but similar market incentives are considered for greening the urban environment. But in both contexts, urban greening strategic plans may be contradictory: while the new measure of green space for environmental justice problems can create urban attractiveness and environmental health, and may also reduce housing costs and Increase the property value. Finally, this issue can lead to renovation and relocation in many settlements in places where urban greening programs have been implemented. Urban planners, designers, and ecologists should therefore focus on urban green space strategic plans that create enough green space and therefore can transparently support social and environmental sustainability.
