Abstract :
Density is one of the most important concepts in basic sciences, especially physics and chemistry, which has wide applications in daily life and various industries. Density represents the ratio of mass to volume of a substance and is affected by changes in temperature, pressure, and chemical composition. This property plays a fundamental role in determining the buoyancy of objects, vehicle design, food, medical, oil and petrochemical industries, and even advanced technologies such as aerospace engineering and electronics. Understanding density not only helps engineers and scientists develop new technologies, but is also very important in educational and research fields. From simple experiments such as liquid layering to complex processes in industry, density is used as an important criterion in examining the properties of materials. This article examines the concept of density, the factors affecting it, and its wide applications in science and technology, and also presents simple experiments to better understand this concept. Proper understanding of this property can greatly contribute to progress in scientific and industrial fields.
