Pathological analysis of innovation paradigm in Iran

Abstract :
    Today, knowledge-based economy is one of the successful development models in countries experiences, and innovation is considered as one of the main criteria for moving towards a knowledge-based economy. Considering the role and importance of innovation, this issue is of concern to many countries in the world. Although Iran s global ranking in innovation has been rising at a good pace in recent years, it still has opportunities for improvement. According to the 2022 Global Innovation Index report, Iran ranks (131), human capital (54), infrastructure (75), market complexity (11), business complexity (115), knowledge and technology outputs (50) and output Creatively, it has the rank (33) which does not take into account the proper position compared to the developing countries of the region. It seems that the paradigm governing the ecosystem of innovation in Iran is facing damages and obstacles that can only be resolved by fully recognizing them and looking at them pathologically. The purpose of this research is the pathological analysis of innovation paradigm in Iran. The pathology of the innovation paradigm in Iran can lead to the improvement of Iran s global position. The method used in this research is descriptive and of the library type, and after examining documents and concepts at different levels, it was concluded that the view of product-oriented, focusing on innovation through universities, institutionalization and dysfunctions of work culture in Iran are the main harms. It is in the paradigm of innovation in Iran.
