        Abstract :
Green chemistry, as an innovative approach in chemical sciences, focuses on the design of chemical processes and products with the aim of reducing environmental impacts and enhancing sustainability. This paper explores the twelve principles of green chemistry and analyzes their practical applications in industries such as renewable energy, pharmaceuticals, and chemical production. Additionally, it highlights recent innovations in the field, emphasizing the use of efficient catalysts, waste reduction, and the design of energy-efficient processes. The challenges facing green chemistry, including research and development costs and infrastructure limitations, are also discussed, with suggestions provided for further development. The findings of this study demonstrate that green chemistry plays a key role in achieving sustainable development goals and environmental preservation.
