Mountain climbers and tourists in strengthening the role of education and ecotourism development (case study of Paraw Mountain in Kermanshah city)

Abstract :
    The attractions of mountainous areas are among the most important sights that attract a wide range of tourists every year. Kermanshah province, as one of the tourist poles in the west of the country, with beautiful nature and abundant attractions, is located at the foot of the Zagors mountain range and has a diverse topography for tourism, especially mountain tourism. It is met. In the meantime, Paraw Mountain is one of the tourist destinations that welcomes tourists from the point of view of nature tourism and brings a reasonable income to the local communities. The purpose of this descriptive-correlational research was to investigate the role of training mountaineers and tourists in the development of responsible tourism in Paraw Mountain located in Kermanshah city. The research community is the mountaineers of Paraw, 120 of them were studied as a research sample using simple random sampling method and Krejcie and Morgan table. The results of the research showed that there is a positive and significant relationship between educational programs for mountaineers and the development of ecotourism in Paraw Mountain. Therefore, in this regard, designing and implementing programs and holding appropriate educational workshops for mountain tourists, developing the activities of non-governmental organizations (NGO) for the promotion of responsible tourism, and developing the educational affairs of mountain guides will help to promote and develop responsible tourism in the mountains.
