Abstract :
Concrete is one of the most crucial materials which are used in structural industry. Durability and permeability are two properties of concrete that determine the age and workability of concrete. For this reason, many engineerings look for the impervious material among the productions in the market namely color (Plastic color, oil color, Paraffin, Bitumen and so forth). They apply these productions for many causes. The first aim is coating outer layer of concrete in facet of decoration. For example exposure of infront face of building should be not only Bueatiful, but also impervious. In this study, a number of variables were investigated so as to evaluate the effect of every kind of color, kind of material which is used in concrete and mixture plan. The variables which were evaluated in this study can refer to ratio of water to concrete, amount of color, type of color, type of cement and mixture plan of concrete. There are many methods in order to evaluate the water content of concrete, but the ratio of water of sample to total weight of dry sample was used. It goes without saying that many apparatus could be used for doing this evaluation, but we saturated the sample into the potable water. A number of samples with the age of 28 days were broken and Compression srentgh was registered. We can conclude that the most impervious material is pitch. Plastic color can not prevent from water absorbtion since water is soluble of this kind of color. Oil color could decrease the amount of water absorbtion from 3.2% to 0.8%. Akleric color is same as plastic color either can not improve permeability of concrete. Beeswax is a good material for water proofing.
