Abstract :
    In preliminary studies to evaluate the hydraulic performance of new designs Salman Farsi Dam Project (Fars Province) by a group of consultants for the project, it was felt necessary to reread the study overflow structure and flow pattern. For this purpose, the physical-hydraulic model of bucket bottom part of the oggy spillway and Salman Farsi Dam, was built in the hydraulic laboratory and in a laboratory flume, and by passing various flow rates from the minimum to the maximum extent possible, on this structural model, and a hydraulic parameters of measurement, we have attempted to analyze the pattern of flow in the spillway structure. The results of this study, the situation observed in the bucket overflow and end it on the right sections and sections that need to review it, or at least more attention is provided.
