Abstract :
This study aims at examining the relationship between social undermining of employees and their personal conflicts while considering the mediating role of cultural beliefs the officers in the Northeast Iranian Army Camp (ground forces) have. To this end, after referring to the previous studies, the aspects and components related to the social undermining of employees, personal conflicts and cultural beliefs were extracted. Then, based on such factors, a questionnaire with 63 questions was written, and the validity of which was approved by the specialists in management. Also, the reliability for each questionnaire was determined to be 0.968, 0.866 and 0.908 respectively. The statistical society consisted of all the officers residing in the Iranian Northeast Army Camp. The sample size was 196 people based on Cochran’s formula. Also, in order to test the hypotheses of the research, the structural equations model and the Lisrel software were used. The results generally confirmed the mediating role of cultural beliefs for the relationship between social undermining and personal conflicts of the employees and specifically showed that all of the cultural aspects (but the organizational integration), i.e. the manager’s support and reward for employees have a mediating role between the employees’ social undermining and personal conflicts. In the end, suggestions were offered to the managers and commanders of the Army Camp.
