Abstract :
The study area is located on the Sanandaj-Sirjan zone that is a metamorphic zone. In this study, the mineral chemistry of Garnet-Amphibolites in Aliabad-Damagh was investigated by EMPA, TG, DTG, CHNS, and SCXRD techniques. The results of this research show that garnets are rich of almandine and grossular. Na content is low in this amphiboles. The obtained results from the mineral chemistry in this study indicate that the studied amphiboles are calcic amphiboles, and in terms of chemical composition they can be called Pargasit. The amount of Si is importnant in this classification Plagioclases are also oligoclase.
