Abstract :
Considering emergence of Ad-Hoc networks and their particular requirements, investigating requirements of mobile nodes in Ad-Hoc networks is necessary. With the development of computer science and its wide application in human life for resolving new requirements of today’s life, Ad-Hoc networks especially mobile ad-hoc networks play an important role. The most important feature of ad-hoc networks which discriminates them from other networks is the possibility of communication among nodes, data exchange and providing some services without infrastructure. Considering Ad-hoc networks and their requirements and fourth generation mobiles, design of existing kernels is investigated and the results show that none of the presented designs suffice requirements of fourth generation mobile nodes and they cannot perform optimally. Thus, considering requirements of fourth generation mobiles, a design is presented for kernel and operating system of these mobile nodes.
