Abstract :
In this paper, we investigate the ratio of behavioral of the coupled steel shear wall (CSSW) using the Priestly & Paulay method. To do this, the CSSW, with dimensions given in this paper, is modelled using ABAQUS finite element software and 2.5 fold of the structure height transition is applied, according to the Iran Earthquake Act 2800. Based on the obtained results, the ratio of extra strength, the ratio of ductility, the behavioral ratio, and the shear strength of the double layer shuttered shear wall were 1.256411986, 3.503931163, 4.402381111, 12, respectively.
