Abstract :
Sustainability has been at the forefront of the international attention since 1990s. This valuation is based on the need for cooperation and the preservation of nature, and if it is not properly evaluated and controlled by the necessary management, it will cause irreparable damage in the not-too-distant future. Ranking systems in the world are one way to monitor this issue so that they may give us a quantitate model for measuring our performance. Iran is no exception to this, with increasing population and increasing environmental pollution, regional conditions will have a descending and catastrophic trend. This article attempts to create a system called Damavand upon Iran s requirements and conditions, based on one of the ranking systems, BREEAM, which is accepted by many of the world s most renown centers. In essence, we want to know how to design an appropriate assessment system for Iran, and what factors and attributes should be taken into consideration. At the end, 10 important criteria for this system has been defined.
