Quality Control (QC), Research and Development (R&D) for soil-cement materials in road engineering

Abstract :
Quality control is necessary in order to ensure the adequate satisfaction of the final product. Moreover, there should be ensured that the contractor has performed the activity based on maps and technical characteristics. Site investigation on the implementation of the soil cement include the control of following factors: crushed and grading, The amount of cement, The amount of moisture, Mixture uniformity, Density, Layer thickness and surface tolerance and Processing In reports of USBR and inspection instructions of PCA, there have been mentioned the comprehensive information on the inspection of quality control and experiments of the soil cement during implementation. In this paper we are going to introduce some of researches about soil-cement material.
