Abstract :
Progressive destruction is the total failure of the structure or its relatively large or substantial part due to local events such as the failure of one or more gravity or lateral loader members and the inability of adjacent members to re-distribute overloads through a path that can sustain And maintain consistency. According to the definition of ASCE, progressive degradation is the spread of a local initial failure from the German to the other element, which results in the destruction of the entire structure or a large disproportionate part of it. The failure of progressive structures in a seismic load close to the structure has become an important challenge and can create problems for structures and even lead to the destruction of the entire structure. In this research, various current regulations on progressive failures have been considered and guidelines for reducing downgrade failures have been considered. The effect of the earthquake effect near the structures and the progressive deterioration resulting from it is also discussed.
